GUY P. GLAZIER is an experienced trial attorney. His successful career in civil and criminal litigation is punctuated by over 40 jury trials as lead counsel, several trial advocacy teaching positions, and national and international management of numerous individual complex cases and entire dockets of specialty cases. Mr. Glazier has tried significant and varied business litigation matters in state and federal court, including most recently cases involving: environmental, banking, telecommunications, trademark, consumer class action and business contract issues.
In 1986, Mr. Glazier earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. After serving as a combat engineer in the Marine Corps, he earned his Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, in 1992 from Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Glazier then served as a Marine Corps Judge Advocate for six years. He prosecuted and defended felony criminal cases and led several remote legal teams practicing international, criminal, and operational law. He also earned a Master of Laws degree from the Judge Advocate General School, where he graduated first in his class and was awarded Best Thesis. Prior to forming Knott & Glazier, Mr. Glazier practiced business and civil litigation in Los Angeles with a multinational law firm.
Mr. Glazier has published and lectured in the areas of jury selection, trial advocacy and environmental law. He currently serves as trial counsel for national and international corporations involved in diverse business sectors including: aerospace and military aircraft and weapon system design and production, shipbuilding and refurbishment, industrial and automotive manufacturing, banking and finance, and telecommunications. Mr. Glazier is national asbestos defense counsel for a leading aerospace company and government contractor.
